it could work well, as long as its not an open space.

Maybe do the kitchen in tuscany.

The living room in bold bright Mexican colors.

Both themes use natural rustic style furnishings.

I wouldn't....they're similar but yet distinct. I think it will just look like you couldn't decide. However, if you go with a simple, modern look for the majority of your furnishings, you could add some of each as accents, maybe in different rooms. This will draw attention to them, yet they won't clash with each other and fight for attention. You should always decorate with the things you love.

Tuscany's colors are earthy while Mexican is very bold. They just don't mix well.
Should you divert one step at the beginning of your path - soon you will find yourself heading in the wrong way
