I have heard that the delicious Tiramisu was invented in Tuscany...is it true?

Yes, it was invented in Siena, as far as I know, to celebrate the coming of Isabella de' Medici from Florence during her first visit of the former enemy, by then assimilated into the Florentine reign. Some say it was invented in northern Italy...

My mother was from Florence and she always told me how Tiramisu was invented by Medici
